I also tried installing the game without the mods at first but that didn't work either! I've tried reinstalling it several times but nothing helped, I even tried installing it on another hard drive from my other steamapps, still the same. I've looked though the Sims folder in the steamapps yet I couldn't find an executeable (exe) yet the launchers were in there and I tried to open those, only one opened though yet it gave me the same error that my game wasn't properly installed. I've had Sims 3 before from family sharing so I thought maybe that caused a problem and deleted all Sims files on my computer, uninstalling the game of couse and tried to reinstall it. I bought Sims last Christmas with Pets and ambitions but ever since I've tried to isntall and play it the message "Unable to start.
